With Lymphedema Specialists of Utah, your patients will be receiving care from specialists trained in the condition of Lymphedema. With our knowledge and experience, we will be able to bring relief and comfort to the patient population struggling with pain and skin conditions associated with edema and Lymphedema. Our approach encompasses but is not limited to: Skin care, manual lymph drainage, compression and therapeutic exercise. We work closely with staff members and family to ensure patients receive the best, individualized care possible and are able to reach goals to assist him/her in becoming more independent.
Patients who successfully participate in Lymphedema treatment significantly reduce skin infections, become more independent with mobility and adl activity and cosmetically feel better about themselves. Patients who receive this treatment also report reduction in pain.
Who we are: A group of inpatient Certified Lymphedema Therapists trained specifically in the treatment of Lymphedema. Our training includes 135+ hours of course work and hands on education in addition to our therapy certification (OTR, COTA).
