How we can help: We provide compression to the edematous area using: Specialized Compression Bandaging Hands on manual lymphatic drainage techniques Therapeutic exercises When a patient's limb begins to decongest the following happens: Pain relief Wound Healing Increased Skin integrity (decrease in fibrotic skin tissue and papiloma occurrence) Decrease infection recurrence Increased Independence with daily activities Increased mobility, balance, and decreased falls Increased positive body image, self esteem, etc. With Lymphedema Specialists of Utah, your patients will be receiving care from specialists trained in the condition of Lymphedema. With our knowledge and experience, we will be able to bring relief and comfort to the patient population struggling with pain and skin conditions associated with edema and Lymphedema. Our approach encompasses but is not limited to: Skin care, manual lymph drainage, compression and therapeutic exercise.
